A dinner party by Through Sunday, Dear Hyssop & Horta Culture
Join us for an intimate summer evening in the gardens.
Hosted by Lisa Hackwith of Through Sunday, Ann Mekala of Dear Hyssop, and Jill Livingston of Horta Culture, this gathering is a celebration of the season at its peak—a long table nestled among the flowers, thoughtful details, and a menu inspired by the abundance of August.
Set in the beautiful gardens at Horta Culture, the evening invites guests to slow down, gather, and enjoy the simple pleasure of sharing a meal outdoors. As the garden settles into golden hour, you’ll be welcomed with a seasonal cocktail before sitting down to a multi-course dinner that highlights summer’s most beloved ingredients: sweet corn, tomatoes, watermelon, fresh herbs, and flowers from the garden.
Lisa will create and prepare the evening’s menu, while Ann will design the tablescape and floral arrangements, transforming the table into a reflection of the season itself—abundant, colorful, and a little bit magical.
The menu will include:

• Sweet Corn Scones with Honey Butter
• Cloud Toast
• Watermelon Panzanella Salad
• Creamy Sweet Corn Pasta
• Sticky Sweet & Sour Ribs
• Watermelon Rind Salad with Tomatoes, Pickled Watermelon Rind, Herbs & Peanuts
• Tomato & Watermelon Sorbet with Olive Oil Gelato
Dinner includes wine pairings
