The Dear Table is an intimate dinner gathering created to celebrate women who make, build, and create. A table set for those who dedicate their time to making spaces for others. Born from the warmth of shared meals and the beauty of intentional design, this evening brings together Lisa Hackwith of Through Sunday and Ann Mekala of Dear Hyssop for a slow, thoughtful night around the table.

You’ll be welcomed into a cozy winter setting, where seasonal florals, candlelight, and conversation set the tone. Lisa will cook a comforting yet bright menu—from smoked-salmon deviled eggs, pan-seared salmon with citrus and a warm date cake for dessert—while Ann sets a table that celebrates winter’s brightness and feels like a deep exhale.

Each guest will go home with a gift by Ann and Lisa, for the next day—because the magic of the evening doesn’t have to end when the table clears.

This dinner is for artists and creators who crave a table set just for them—a place to be nourished, inspired, and cared for in the darkest stretch of the year where we’ll gather, eat, and share.
